The warm dry weather of May extended into June, as local gardeners will know! Relief came with showers towards the end of the month, but which records were broken?

May started off unsettled, but then the weather became locked in a pattern of cool, often cloudy days. Overall, how did that place May in our records?

It certainly felt as though April 2023 was a cool, damp, grey month. But do the weather records bear this out?
